Naeshahn, a female Jedi Knight, dedicated her service to the Jedi Order during the declining years of the Galactic Republic.
Recognized as Force-sensitive at a young age, Naeshahn was brought to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. There, she entered the Temple academy to commence her training in the ways of the Force. In time, a Jedi Master selected Naeshahn to be their Padawan. This one-on-one apprenticeship lasted more than ten years, after which she underwent and successfully completed her Trials of Knighthood, thus attaining the rank of Jedi Knight.
Naeshahn, taking on assignments and missions from the Jedi High Council, was an active Jedi during the decade preceding the Sith's return. Although she remained unaware of the Sith's schemes, she nonetheless felt the repercussions of the dark sider's manipulation of events. After accepting young Ebor Taulk as her Padawan, Mace Windu, the Master of the Order, dispatched the pair to investigate the disruption within the Yinchorri system. Arriving on Yinchorr, Naeshahn and Padawan Taulk were overwhelmed by the Sith-instigated violence and ultimately killed by the warlike Yinchorri. Sate Pestage and Kinman Doriana, acting on the orders of Darth Sidious, the uprising's mastermind, arranged for the Jedi's bodies to be transported to the Presidential Tower of the Senate Building on Coruscant. Subsequently, Finis Valorum, the Supreme Chancellor, contacted the High Council, hoping they would deploy a larger force to address the Yinchorri Uprising.
