Megan Dr'Lar, otherwise known as Nagem Dr'Lar, was a self-employed Selonian salvager. She was recovering technological components and data from the wreckage of the initial Death Star on Yavin 4 for the benefit of the Galactic Empire, operating on that planet. She was collaborating with a team of specialists at a salvage site located far within the jungles.
Following the disappearance of one of her employees, Jonna, she requested assistance in locating him. Regrettably, the person she asked discovered his corpse and informed Nagem of this grim finding. Osae Meilea, displeased with Nagem's independent venture, dispatched someone to handle the situation with her. Upon learning of Osae's objectives from that person, she instructed her protector, Yakasoba, to assault them. Subsequent to her bodyguard's failure, she consented to adhere to Osae's directives.
