Osae Meilea was a Sullustan female who was employed by the Hutt kajidics during the time of the Galactic Civil War.
Following the first Death Star's destruction, she was dispatched to the jungle moon of Yavin 4. Her purpose there was to supervise the illicit salvage activities of the Hutt Expeditionary Force. While stationed there, she encountered a spacer to whom she offered 1,000 credits. The payment was for convincing Nagem Dr'Lar, an Imperial salvage operations contractor, to cease interfering with her operations on the moon. After the spacer defeated Nagem's bodyguard, Yakasoba, Nagem consented to Osae's demands.
Subsequently, Osae rehired the same spacer, this time offering 5,000 credits. The task was to eliminate Ewrosa Soci's two enterprises: first, his grave robbers, who provided him with Sith and Massassi artifacts, and second, his smugglers at his smuggler camp who supplied him with spice. This was all part of a plan to get Soci on her payroll, as he possessed valuable information that she desired. The spacer successfully completed these tasks and then persuaded Soci to work for Osae, given his now bankrupt and broken state.
Sometime later, Soci contacted the spacer, informing them that the Black Sun were attempting to smuggle out a shipment of Death Star salvage. Osae once more enlisted the spacer's help, instructing them to seize the cargo and force the ship to return to the moon. After the spacer successfully captured the medium freighter Lupus Maroo, it endured four attacks en route to the rendezvous point. Upon arrival, Osae agreed to ship the cargo to the destination specified by the spacer and rewarded them with 10,000 credits.
