Nagnol

Starships flying through a cloud of nagnol gas. Nagnol was a type of gas that had the ability to interfere with the sensory systems of starships. It appeared as a dense, smoky cloud that exhibited unusual behavior, expanding and moving even in the vacuum of space.

The location known as Jekk'Jekk Tarr found on Nar Shaddaa was originally designed to be a system of ventilation used for the purpose of moving nagnol gases away from docking areas.

During the time of the Galactic Civil War, the droid C-3PO made use of this gas to cause disruptions in the sensor readings of a group of space pirates who were in the process of attacking the Rebel freighter on which he was currently located.
