Nan Latourain
Nan Latourain was a Jedi Master who dedicated himself to the service of the Jedi Order throughout the decline of the Galactic Republic.
Biography
Being Force-sensitive, Nan Latourain underwent training in the Force by the Jedi Order. He then succeeded in his Trials of Knighthood, which allowed him to be promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight. Latourain specialized as a Sentinel, becoming a skilled slicer, and eventually achieved the title of Jedi Master.
In 24 BBY, Latourain was assigned to the Jedi Temple located on Coruscant after being asked to be an instructor. He accepted the position, and at the Temple academy he taught older initiates about codes, ciphers, and methods to bypass encryption. The celebrated Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi was one of Latourain's students during his time at the academy.
