Nanilas, among the various root languages of the Rellarin, held the position of being the most commonly used. The eight tongues found across the Riha Archipelago trace their origins back to Nanilas, although whether it existed independently as a regularly spoken language remains uncertain.
Given the existence of a minimum of 57 distinct Rellarin cultural groups, each possessing a unique language, a significant portion of the Rellarin population exhibited multilingualism, communicating not only in their native languages but also in those of adjacent tribal communities.
