Within the Mid Rim's Western Reaches, specifically in the Senex-Juvex region and the Senex sector's Nars system, one could find Nars, a terrestrial planet. The Knores system was connected to it via a hyperlane.
Nars, a chilly and pale world, served as the homeworld for the sentient Nartian species. Nartians frequently worked as servants throughout Senex-Juvex. A pilgrimage to Nars was expected of every Nartian at least once, and older Nartians commonly used a significant portion of their wealth to do so.
Similar to other planets in the area, Nars was governed by the aristocratic Ancient Houses. The Nars Week, a Nartian celebration, shares its moniker with the planet.
The reference book The Essential Atlas, published in 2009 and written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, included Nars, locating it in grid L-17.
