Nathaniel Gabor, an enthusiast of Star Wars, created the Tibannuck for the Star Wars Galaxy Magazines' Design An Alien competition. His submission secured the 3rd position within the category for participants under 16 years of age. At the time of his entry's publication, he was 14 years old.
Gabor pursued his graduate studies in physics at Cornell University, where he conducted research on the transport and optical characteristics of carbon nanotube P-N diodes within the Laboratory of Atomic and Solid State Physics. Presently, he holds the position of associate professor at the University of California Riverside.
