Natural was a retail establishment situated just outside the borders of the city of Gadrin, which itself was located on the planet of Cularin. Its period of operation occurred towards the end of the Galactic Republic during its final years.
The Human duo of Selima DeWitt and Percival Vale, together with the Cerean named Higgie Sethven, founded and managed the shop. They specialized in selling locally made crafts, regional fruits, and datacards containing information about the plant and animal life of Cularin. Upon Sethven's discovery of a drug obtainable from the star-mist plant, he reached out to the corporation known as Genasys, who then dispatched a security detail to the shop for a meeting. However, Culpharm, a competing entity to Genasys, received intelligence regarding this arrangement and deployed their own security personnel with the aim of disrupting the intended meeting. The Culpharm team launched an assault on the Genasys team, leading to an exchange of gunfire both within and around the shop's premises. DeWitt, Vale, and Sethven stayed inside the shop, and were ultimately saved by the group known as the Heroes of Cularin.
