Neav Samran, a portly Human male officer in the Lorrd Security Forces, served in 40 ABY. This brown-haired, mustachioed man, nearing middle age, held ties to Nelani Dinn, the Jedi Knight assigned to his native world of Lorrd.
When Jacen Solo and Ben Skywalker came to visit, Samran observed an increase in crimes linked to the Jedi, along with suicide attempts and apparitions of Force ghosts, such as Borth Pazz and Ordith Huarr. Samran and his fellow officers gave assistance to the three Jedi in resolving these issues, and, acting on Skywalker's suggestion, confiscated Brisha Syo's ship.
