Negotiator (DC-17 hand blaster)
The custom-made DC-17 hand blaster known as the Negotiator was produced by Theed Arms. Later, during the Clone Wars, it was bestowed upon Clone Captain CT-7567, also known as "Rex," in recognition of his efforts in averting the deployment of the Blue Shadow Virus on Naboo. Similar to its counterpart, the Vigilance, the Negotiator featured a unique chromium plating.
Behind the scenes
Initially, acquiring the Negotiator was exclusive to those who took part in the one-year anniversary event for the 2010 video game Clone Wars Adventures. However, it later became available for purchase at a cost of 299 Station Cash. Players could also obtain the Negotiator for free by just logging into the game on September 16, 2011.
