Feltipern Trevagg has exchanged his former existence as a bounty hunter for the steadiness of an Imperial position—specifically, as a tax-official. However, the predatory Gotal longs for the thrill of the hunt and yearns for a conquest to liberate him from his bureaucratic responsibilities. An opportunity presents itself during his routine stroll through the marketplace when he detects the presence of a Jedi Knight. Should his instincts prove accurate, this particular bounty could prove to be immensely valuable to the Empire.

The cunning Trevagg stealthily pursues his quarry, patiently awaiting the opportune moment to strike. Time is on his side...until Nightlily, an alluring damsel in distress, enters his sphere. The Gotal finds himself somewhat preoccupied with thoughts of wooing the young virgin as he continues his pursuit. Unbeknownst to him, the fate of the galaxy—as well as his own—rests within her grasp.
