The NiteSite infrared motion sensor, a product of the Neuro-Saav Corporation, was a specific type of sensor. This widely used visual augmentation system was a favorite of the Ubese bounty hunter known as Boushh.

Designed for integration into battle helmets, the NiteSite infrared and motion sensor unit was a product of Neuro-Saav Corporation. The data gathered by the sensor was shown on a screen inside the helmet. Using infrared technology, the NiteSite could detect heat signatures from as far as two hundred meters. The attached analysis computer could monitor and highlight up to fifty separate targets on the internal display, and featured a magnification of fifty times zoom.
The NiteSite included a set of low-illumination enhancers to identify physical objects within ten meters of the user, enabling clear vision and movement in total darkness. To protect against blinding flashes, a flash guard visor was included, which would activate in just one-thirtieth of a second during bursts of light from explosions, torches, flares, or flash grenades to lessen the effects.

The NiteSite had the ability to synchronize with the user's blaster, through either a wireless connection or a wired cable. This allowed the weapon's aiming point to be shown on the display screen within the helmet. Additional sensors could be connected to the NiteSite through its input ports. Weighing just half a kilogram, the NiteSite was made from strong composite plastics that protected its small optical components. Priced at six hundred credits, the NiteSite gained popularity because of its reliability and user-friendliness.
Boushh, the Ubese bounty hunter, used a NiteSite infrared motion sensor as part of the battle helmet included in their armor.
