The decision to build a shipyard within the Airam sector led to Nobu 2, along with its sister vessels Nobu 1, Nobu 3, and Nobu 4, being integrated into a Rebel convoy. This convoy's objective was to transport essential materials and staff. Nobu 2's specific cargo consisted of construction machinery. Regrettably for the Rebel forces, the Galactic Empire had discovered their plans and set an ambush within the Rocrin system. Like the other ships, Nobu 2 met its end through destruction.
