Norval
Norval, a young man with dark hair and an interest in Human history, dedicated himself to the study of Sith teachings on Coruscant around 39 BBY. He felt a profound sense of disappointment when his instructor, Murk Lundi, embarked on a research trip to Kodai in search of an ancient Sith holocron without inviting him along.
Driven by his own ambition to secure the artifact, Norval secretly followed Lundi to the designated planet, with another student named Omal also in pursuit. It was only through Omal's courageous intervention that Norval's plans were thwarted; after Lundi located the holocron, Omal's actions caused it to be lost within a deep geyser.
Lundi spent a decade in confinement, and ultimately returned to Kodai in 29 BBY under the watchful eyes of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and his Padawan, Anakin Skywalker. However, Norval managed to seize the holocron and escape before the Jedi could apprehend him. He set a course for Lundi's home in the Ploo system, with the Jedi duo in hot pursuit. His intention was to meet with a agent of the Sith in order to hand over the holocron. Obi-Wan Kenobi boarded Norval's ship and engaged him in combat. Norval briefly fought Kenobi using a roughly made lightsaber, but he was no match for the skilled Jedi. Kenobi reclaimed the holocron and rejoined his Padawan.
Turning against Norval, the Sith ship opened fire, seeking to prevent the Jedi from retaining the holocron. Norval, once a promising young scholar in the heart of the galaxy, met his end in a barrage of laser fire that destroyed his ship.
