Nuri, a destitute Clawdite, eked out a living on the Banking world of Aargau. Possessing a keen understanding of the value of information, Nuri was always well-informed, willing to spend generously to acquire it. He frequented the Aargau Undercity, a known hub for spies looking to sell their secrets. He harbored a strong animosity towards Aurra Sing, as they were rivals. Utilizing his Changeling abilities, he masqueraded as a Bimm, offering tours for a fee, and then swindling his clients by pretending to assist them in retrieving their funds from the banking system. One of his victims was a young, unlucky Boba Fett, from whom he pilfered approximately 500,000 credits.
In the year 21 BBY, Techno Union Foreman Wat Tambor was apprehended by Anakin Skywalker on Metalorn, leading to his capture and subsequent imprisonment. Following Tambor's transfer to the [prison](/article/prison/legends] planet of Delrian, the Techno Union enlisted Nuri to spearhead a rescue attempt. Nuri, accompanied by two Skakoan Commandos, adopted the guise of Tambor's legal representatives, gaining access to his cell. The commandos eliminated Tambor's guards and detonated his cell door by rupturing their compressed methane pressure suits. Amidst the resulting pandemonium, Nuri secured Tambor and employed clandestine Techno Union technology to circumvent the prison's security protocols. After the successful extraction, Nuri continued to work for the Techno Union, serving as a guard within Wat Tambor's fortress located on Xagobah.
Later, on Xagobah, Nuri encountered Boba. He morphed into an Arrak snake in an attempt to constrict him, then transformed into a Dinko to unleash a noxious odor, hoping to incapacitate Boba. He then attempted to flee as a Fefze beetle, but Boba apprehended him, exacting his revenge by temporarily paralyzing him with a Xabar fungus.
