Oblee were intelligent beings with three arms, native to the planet Oblis, although their origins trace back to the Unknown Regions.
Every Oblee possessed four eyes, arranged in two distinct rows. The color of each row could differ, a characteristic exemplified by the renowned Oblee named Nirama. A telltale sign of sleep deprivation in Oblee was the appearance of wrinkles beneath all their eyes.
Certain individuals of this species discovered the Sith artifact called the Darkstaff. Ultimately, this device led to the destruction of their home planet, leaving the surviving Oblee as spectral entities, commonly known as shadow lurkers, scattered across the galaxy. They would occasionally attempt to engage with the material realm by draining the life force from sentient creatures and taking over their bodies.
The Oblee had disseminated their genetic material across the galaxy, and in time, an individual named Nirama was born, under the impression that he was the sole surviving member of his kind.
