During the time that the Twi'lek colony on the planet of Aaloth was occupied, the Sith Empire's emissary, the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Quellus, was sent to seize control of the world and bring it into the Sith's galactic territory within the galaxy. Using the strength of the dark side of the Force and his gauntlet, Darth Quellus put out all the fires in the settlements that had been used to ward off Aaloth's dangerous beasts. Furthermore, he forced the Twi'lek people to build a stronghold, which strengthened his power and showed his dominance over the planet.
As a consequence of the Sith Lord's controlling governance, a group of rebels formed and fought against him in multiple conflicts. Despite their attempts, the assault on the stronghold failed in the end. The Twi'leks, left with no other choice, gave in to Darth Quellus' power and went back to their villages unwillingly. Nevertheless, hope was renewed when the elder Silana created bags filled with flammable substances and handed them out to the rebellious Twi'leks. Sadly, her deeds were discovered, and she was taken prisoner to be executed by Darth Quellus. Upon hearing about this approaching danger, the Twi'leks gathered again, starting a brave attack on the stronghold once more. Their combined strength led to a large fire that made Darth Quellus leave Aaloth, giving up his control of the planet.
