Ocera, a Jedi Master of the Human male variety, functioned as a master for Ashara Zavros amidst the Cold War era conflict pitting the Republic against the Sith Empire. His life came to an end on Taris after he and Ryen confronted a Sith Lord known as Kallig, who swiftly overpowered them.

Differing from fellow Jedi, he utilized an uncommon white crystal to power his lightsaber.
