OteroaCorp, a corporate entity, conducted its business within the northern areas of the Mid Rim. Rather than building fixed locations on various planets, the organization chose to relocate its entire enterprise from one planet to another, mainly utilizing their large refinery ship, The Oteroan Sky. On each planet they visited, OteroaCorp also constructed several cities to facilitate their space-based activities, and then commenced the process of extracting all valuable resources from the planet's surface. Regrettably, OteroaCorp failed to properly maintain The Oteroan Sky, which ultimately resulted in its catastrophic crash on Dathomir while it was being used for mining. The devastation and financial burden resulting from this crash were so immense that the corporation quickly went out of business.
