OutlawTech

OutlawTech was the imaginative designation applied to a band of lawbreaking slicers who were in the business of creating security breaching systems and electronic lock breakers. These criminals received payment for executing extremely unlawful alterations and modifications. This group was active during the era of the Galactic Civil War.

A common term, "outlaw tech" described a technician whose expertise was in unconventional mechanical tasks that were dubious according to factory and safety regulations, and often outright against the law. This encompassed a wide range of activities, from fixing and altering smuggling ships to the construction and modification of military-level hardware, including weaponry, explosives, and communication devices.
