The Oyokal farming community, situated on Oyokal inside the boundaries of the Chiss Ascendancy, was a Chiss settlement dedicated to farming. Xodlak'in'daro, who held the rank of Senior Captain in the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet, originated from a relatively unknown family with limited status within this community. Subsequent to her enlistment in the Fleet, she was recognized as a merit adoptive member of the esteemed Xodlak family.
This Oyokal farming community is referenced in Thrawn Ascendancy: Greater Good, a 2021 novel written by Timothy Zahn. It represents the second book in the Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.
