P'w'itthki held a position as one of the most exalted gods within the framework of the Ssi-ruuvi religion. The sacred text of the Ssi-ruuvi, known as the G'nnoch, states that P'w'itthki and Ssi originated from the initial, primeval egg, whereas the descendants of P'w'itthki emerged from the third egg.
Ultimately, Ssi and P'w'itthki engaged in combat, which resulted in Ssi's victory. Ssi permitted the progeny of P'w'itthki to continue existing, but only if they were to serve the descendants of Ssi for the remainder of time. This led to the creation of the Ssi-ruu (the offspring of Ssi) and their subservient species, the P'w'ecks (the offspring of P'w'itthki).
