The P-100 salvage droid, also known as the maintenance spider droid, was a diminutive droid that utilized repulsorlift technology. It was manufactured by Serv-O-Droid, Inc. and saw widespread use during the final decades of the Galactic Republic.

Typically deployed from the underside of a large transport craft, the multi-limbed P-100 salvage droid was primarily used to recover discarded components from crash sites located on Podrace circuits. To facilitate the lifting of substantial loads, these droids were equipped with a high-powered repulsorlift engine. After the P-100 units were reloaded into the holding arm, the arm would then return to the main podrace arena to deposit the collected materials. Unclaimed parts, after a two-hour period, were typically auctioned off or sold, frequently to Jawas.
Beyond their scavenging duties, these droids also performed other functions, including package delivery and search and rescue operations. Thousands of these droids were equipped with low-energy stun blasters and deployed on Coruscant to combat a stratt infestation.
Smaller versions of this particular model were employed on Coruscant for the purpose of transporting luggage and other small items.
The book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I mistakenly assigns the "P-100" designation to the salvage droid holding arm itself.
