Padmé Amidala's journal

The journal was penned by Queen Padmé Amidala.

During the events of 32 BBY, Padmé Amidala began keeping a journal as a means of organizing her thoughts and finding solutions to the crisis that was engulfing her homeworld of Naboo. This journal detailed the unfolding events of the conflict, starting from the blockade imposed by the Trade Federation and culminating in the Nabooian triumph both on ground and in space. The journal concludes with an account of the celebrations that followed the victory, accompanied by Amidala's reflections on fate and destiny. Furthermore, the journal recorded Amidala's initial encounters with both Obi-Wan Kenobi, who would become her friend, and Anakin Skywalker, the man who would become her future husband and, ultimately, her killer.
