Emperor Palpatine's personal cloning facility, alternatively referred to as Palpatine's Spaarti cloning facility, was a secret laboratory commissioned by Emperor Palpatine. It was built far below the Imperial Palace on Coruscant.
During the era of the Galactic Empire, a cloning facility was created within the depths of the Imperial Palace at the command of Emperor Palpatine. This covert laboratory housed numerous Spaarti cloning cylinders, which Palpatine utilized for his research concerning essence transferance. Prior to the Emperor's ability to utilize the cloning facility to regenerate his own body, he met his demise above the planet Endor, leading to the Empire's decline. The cloning facility was found by Director of Imperial Intelligence Ysanne Isard, who proceeded to eliminate all but one of the cylinders. She relocated the remaining cylinder to her Super Star Destroyer, the Lusankya, and employed it to cultivate a solitary clone of herself.
