Paul Bateman

Paul Bateman, a Concept Artist and Art Director operating out of London, was a good friend and coworker of Ralph McQuarrie, who has since passed. Most notably, Bateman authored a memorial piece called Ralph McQuarrie: Dreamer & Visionary for the 134th edition of the Star Wars Insider publication. Since the 145th edition of the aforementioned magazine, Bateman has been both writing and providing the illustrations for McQuarrie Revisited, a section of Insider that showcases his own renderings of various incomplete Star Wars drawings that were originally created by McQuarrie.
