Peckva constituted a species of ungulate animals, non-sentient in nature, that were native to Maryo. Maryo was a vacation planet situated within the Corporate Sector. These creatures were recognized for their swiftness and were the target of hunting expeditions conducted by wealthy individuals who frequented the planet.
The initial reference to Peckva occurred within The Essential Atlas, a book of reference authored by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace. It was made available to the public in 2009.
