In the year 1 ABY, Lieutenant Khartoor of the Royal Naboo Security Forces directed her operatives to launch assaults on Peddler groups situated close to Theed. The objective was to acquire intelligence concerning the fugitive murderer, Hunnos Jarkey.
The Peddlers made their debut in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. They were present in the game before it ceased operations on December 15, 2011. The Peddlers' inclusion in the game occurred through the "Legacy Quest" update, coinciding with the release of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
