The People's Inquest served as a public watchdog organization focused on the Jedi. This group was in operation during the months leading up to the outbreak of the Clone Wars.
The People's Inquest offered their backing to Jonava Billane during the events of the Case of "Baby Ludi". The president of the People's Inquest was Thrynka Padaunete. The organization gained notoriety through numerous marches and petitions directed at the Jedi Temple. During one march, several Padawans found themselves unable to manage the intense crowd. Jedi Master Plo Koon then stepped in and utilized a Jedi mind trick to disperse the unruly crowd with ease.
Following the execution of Order 66, the group assisted the Galactic Empire by gathering and submitting a comprehensive list of all known surviving Jedi, along with details regarding other Force-sensitive groups.
