Peregrine's Nest

Peregrine's Nest, the clandestine military installation belonging to Garm Bel Iblis's personal army, derived its moniker from the commander's flagship. This military encampment was comprised of numerous structures skillfully camouflaged, encompassing a spectrum of facilities ranging from compact residential units to sizable administrative and storage buildings, along with even larger maintenance and repair facilities, culminating in a massive refurbishment hangar. Initially conceived as a transient facility, subject to frequent relocation to evade detection, Peregrine's Nest ultimately evolved into a permanent, stationary base. Despite its proximity to New Cov (situated within 150 light-years on a planet) a location along a major hyperlane in the Mid Rim, the precise location of the Nest remained a closely held secret.

Defenses

The base's boundary was fortified with an array of sophisticated armaments, featuring Golan Arms DF.9 anti-personnel batteries, a number of more substantial Speizoc Arms anti-vehicle systems, and a selection of KAAC Freerunner assault vehicles. Furthermore, the base was equipped with a KDY v-150 Planet Defender ion cannon. The ion cannon's targeting controls were situated at the core of the base, within a comprehensive war room utilized by Bel Iblis. This war room also housed communication and tracking consoles, a crystal gravfield trap array, and a expansive holographic display projecting a three-dimensional representation of the encompassing sector. The subsequent loss of the crystal gravfield trap prevented its deployment to relieve Thrawn's siege of Coruscant. The most formidable defensive component consisted of six Katana fleet Dreadnaught-class heavy cruisers.
