Personal assistant droids, often abbreviated as PADs, were a particular class of droid employed throughout the Clone Wars period in time. These droids, crafted to mimic perfect organic beings, were commonly located in administrative hubs. Concerns arose during the conflict that the Confederacy of Independent Systems might exploit these droids to undermine the Galactic Republic, leading to the production of propaganda posters. A notable example is Yosyro Modoll's Keep Our Republic Secure, showcasing a personal assistant droid designed as a curvaceous humanoid female figure. Behind the droid loomed a sizable, shadowy representation of Separatist general Grievous' mask, serving as a caution to Republic inhabitants to routinely wipe their droids' memory banks.
