Gleasry played a significant role in the plot surrounding the Corellian Insurrection, which included spying on Leia Organa Solo, the Chief of State, as she left for the Corellian Trade Summit. He managed to acquire Organa Solo's primary communication channel and subsequently transmitted a coded message to her via Mara Jade, a trader affiliated with the Smugglers' Alliance, although Luke Skywalker was his initial preference for delivering the message.
After the Corellian Crisis came to an end, he was taken into custody.
