Phillian, a human from the dawn of spacefaring, is remembered in tales as the captain of a star-faring galleon. This vessel took part in a competition aimed at charting a secure path to the fabled planet of Batuu. The crew stumbled upon a vast collection of wrecked vessels, remnants of prior failed attempts to reach Batuu. Forgoing the original mission, they started salvaging valuables and materials from these abandoned ships.
The Ravenstar, another competitor, eventually located Phillian's galleon. Phillian then suggested a race to the finish line with the significantly smaller Ravenstar. Phillian initially surged ahead, but a misjudgment of fuel usage, combined with the added weight of the salvaged goods, led to the ship losing momentum and drifting. The Ravenstar, after successfully reaching Batuu, returned to help and receive their prize.
