Approximately a decade prior to the emergence of Grand Admiral Thrawn, Lando Calrissian conducted a failed endeavor on Phraetiss. It was on this planet that he first encountered Niles Ferrier, the smuggler.
In the PC game Star Wars: Rebellion, Phraetiss is located within the "Farfin sector," which is actually a spelling error; the correct designation is Farrfin Sector.
