Pi
Spacecraft sometimes used Pi as a call sign. A Class-D cargo container belonging to the Rebel Alliance was named Pi. Conversely, Pi 3 was a Class-A cargo container used by the Galactic Empire.
Behind the scenes
The first appearance of Pi was in the Star Wars: X-Wing video game. Outside of the Star Wars universe, pi (π) is a mathematical constant and a Greek letter.
