The pink blobs may have been semi-sentient entities with the ability to coalesce into other forms, notably technological constructs like the OG-9 homing spider droid. Each individual blob possessed six claws and a metallic component affixed to its back.

During 19 BBY, these blobs were responsible for eliminating a horned green Jedi and a squad of clone troopers stationed on the space station named the Brink of the Celestial Wake, located in the Outer Rim Territories. Ultimately, Jedi Knight Serra Keto, with the help of Anakin Skywalker, was able to neutralize the blobs after Skywalker breached the hull of the space station, resulting in its destruction.
