Serra Keto was a female Jedi Knight of the Human species. She trained as a Padawan under the tutelage of the esteemed Jedi Master Cin Drallig, and was regarded as his most accomplished student. Keto specialized in Jar'Kai, a fighting technique that involved wielding two lightsabers simultaneously. Like her mentor, she was renowned for her prowess with a lightsaber. During the Clone Wars, Keto served as a Jedi General, and even fought alongside the celebrated Jedi Anakin Skywalker in a particular battle. Tragically, in 19 BBY, she perished during Operation: Knightfall when the Sith apprentice Darth Vader led an assault on the Jedi Temple located on the planet Coruscant. Despite engaging Vader in combat to protect other Jedi, she was ultimately defeated.
Serra Keto, a female of the Human race, served the Jedi Order near the end of the Galactic Republic era. Cin Drallig, a highly skilled lightsaber master, trained her, and Keto distinguished herself as his most promising pupil. In time, she rose to the rank of Jedi Knight. Like her Master, she was a proficient lightsaber duelist, earning recognition as Drallig's best apprentice. Keto practiced Jar'Kai, the dueling art of fighting with two lightsabers concurrently.

During the Clone Wars, Keto served as a Jedi General. In 19 BBY, during the Outer Rim Sieges, a space station carrying Keto, another Jedi, and a unit of clone troopers came under attack by a pink blob-like species with the ability to merge and transform into machinery. Keto emerged as the only survivor of the assault and dispatched a distress signal in the Outer Rim Territories that caught the attention of Anakin Skywalker, a Jedi Knight. Leaving behind his ally, Obi-Wan Kenobi, the "Hero With No Fear" journeyed to the space station and encountered Keto, who immediately demanded transport off the facility. However, Skywalker refused, intent on discovering the fate of her unit. Due to his persistence, the two Jedi were compelled to battle the pink shape-shifting creatures, which had transformed into two Separatist spider droids. Although they ultimately prevailed, the Jedi were forced to breach a bulkhead, exposing themselves to the vacuum of space. Skywalker sought to activate the emergency ray shields to preserve the station's integrity. Keto, however, argued that the only way to eliminate the blobs was to allow the station to self-destruct, taking the creatures with it. Skywalker resisted the idea of death, leading him and Keto to hastily retreat to the hangar, narrowly escaping in his Jedi Interceptor.

Shortly following the Battle of Utapau, Palpatine, the Republic's Supreme Chancellor, successfully turned Skywalker to the dark side of the Force, initiating the Great Jedi Purge. Skywalker, now known as Darth Vader, was dispatched to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to kill all the Jedi present. Serra Keto and Cin Drallig mounted a final defense, repelling numerous clone troopers until they were separated by All Terrain Recon Transports. Ultimately, Keto confronted Vader in the data room near the Tower of First Knowledge.
Despite her emotionally charged dual lightsaber attacks, she found Vader to be the stronger opponent. During their duel, Keto attempted to provoke Vader, hoping to exploit a mistake and gain an advantage. Unfortunately, Vader managed to exhaust and corner the young Jedi, trapping her in the training room at the base of the Tower of First Knowledge. Desperate, she used the Force to throw a massive pillar between herself and Vader in an attempt to escape. However, Vader evaded the attack and pursued her onto a balcony. After a brief exchange against the Sith, the young Jedi managed to pin Vader against a pillar and attempted to decapitate him. Vader dodged her strike, causing her to sever the pillar instead. Before the exhausted Keto could attack Vader again, the Dark Lord used the Force to cause the severed pillar to fall onto her, knocking her off the balcony and crushing her in the training room below. Serra Keto was killed, becoming one of the many Jedi to fall at the hands of Vader.
Serra Keto possessed a strong belief in her own capabilities, which was evident during her confrontation with Darth Vader. However, this confidence never led her to make rash decisions in combat. She was selfless, willing to sacrifice herself if necessary. She was prepared to destroy the ship, along with herself, to defeat the "machine-aliens," believing it to be the Jedi way. Keto also exhibited a cocky and bold demeanor, taunting her opponents in an effort to distract them while boasting about her skills.

Cin Drallig, Keto's master, developed a unique lightsaber combat style centered around enhanced speed and unpredictable movements, a style that his apprentice adopted. Her combat style was characterized by speed, dynamism, and acrobatics, earning her recognition as Cin Drallig's most skilled student in lightsaber combat. She practiced Jar'Kai, employing both lightsabers to deliver more powerful attacks. Keto proved capable of holding her own against Darth Vader and nearly beheaded him before the Sith Lord crushed her under a pillar. Keto also possessed skill in telekinesis.
Serra Keto was created for the Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith video game by LucasArts in 2005.
Early drafts of the Revenge of the Sith game depicted Keto fighting Vader alongside her Master, Cin Drallig, in a two-on-one battle. This encounter would have required the Sith Lord to utilize his dark side powers to overcome the two highly skilled combatants. The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia incorrectly states that Serra Keto was expelled from the Jedi Order due to her defiance and boldness.
