The organization gained infamy for organizing hunting groups to chase after Barabels located on the planet of Barab I. Despite the clear evidence of the Barabels' intelligence, the hunting of these beings generated consistent revenue, making the company unwilling to acknowledge their sentience. As the Barabels started to defend themselves against the hunting parties, the Empire had no choice but to launch an inquiry into Planetary Safaris' activities. Captain Osted Alater was dispatched to Barab I to assess the potential threat posed by the Barabels to Imperial authority. During his time there, he uncovered the fact that the Barabels were sentient creatures, leading to the closure of Planetary Safaris.
