The Poem of Ages represented the Bouncers' Bouncer compilation of their complete historical record, notably featuring the Seventh Battle of Ruusan. Contained near the conclusion of this poem were several prophecies, two of which predicted the future arrivals of both Morgan and Kyle Katarn at the Valley of the Jedi.
During 1 BBY, the Bouncers observed Morgan Katarn riding a floater as he traveled from Fort Nowhere in the east towards Olmondo located to the west, identifying him as the individual described in their prophecy.
Unbeknownst to him, Morgan halted his floater (named the Old Codger) that evening amidst the dunes concealing the ruins of Olmondo. It was there that he made contact with the Bouncers. A Bouncer conveyed a portion of the prophecy concerning the anticipated arrival of a knight. Morgan clarified that, despite his ability to could feel the fluctuations within the Force, he had never achieved the rank of Jedi Knight. The Bouncer continued, explaining their expectation of an alien arriving from the east via aerial travel, who would pause at Olmondo during the night in search of the Valley, mirroring Morgan's westward journey on a repulsorcraft. When Morgan maintained that he had never stayed in Olmondo, the Bouncers disclosed that its remains were buried directly beneath the sand.
To align with the prophecy, they passed the night in Olmondo, after which Morgan inquired about directions, even though the Valley was situated along the path he had consistently been following.
