The Polar Wastes constituted a zone situated on the icy planet known as Akuria II. In the past, the Galactic Empire established a base in this area, and the Alliance to Restore the Republic also constructed one. Furthermore, the natural feature called the Geyser Sea could be found within the Wastes.
