Porter-class transport

The Porter-class transport, a creation of Rothana Heavy Engineering, served as the blueprint for the Purgatory-class prison ship. Initially conceived as a troop carrier during the Clone Wars, the Porter-class transport faced strong disapproval due to its confined and unpleasant conditions, leading soldiers in early tests to despise it. Consequently, owing to its lack of favor, the Porters were repurposed into prison vessels and subsequently rebranded as the Purgatory-class.
