Pouch-mother

Pouch-mothers, acting as surrogate female Hutts, provided nourishment for the Huttlets of other females within their brood pouchs. These individuals were employed at the communal nursery located on Nal Hutta, a place where Hutt mothers had the option to entrust their Huttlets for a handful of hours per day, enabling them to dedicate attention to their professional responsibilities. Typically, Hutts formed a strong bond with both their pouch-mother and their biological parent.
