During the time of the Galactic War, a Hutt named Prava oversaw the space station that would eventually become Mek-Sha. Because Prava's attention was diverted by the continuing Conquest of Makeb, the slave Gritha Dar was able to convince others to support her and steal control of the station away from the Hutt Cartel.
