Predator I
The Predator I, manufactured by Arakyd Industries, was a sleek pod fitted with both a hyperdrive and a sublight drive. Its purpose was to carry Viper probe droids across hyperspace.
Behind the scenes
Although the Viper probe droid appears in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, the Predator's characteristics differ from those of the Probe-Mate hyperspace pod described in various other materials. It is viewed as another pod type deployed alongside that droid.
