Privitt held the rank of Imperial officer and was assigned to a communications outpost located on the world of Vaal.
Privitt's assignment to the outpost occurred just a few weeks prior to the first Death Star's demise. He initially struggled to understand the nonchalant behavior of the other two officers present. Eventually, he adopted their perspective, but unfortunately met his end when a group of ferocious hyenax entered the base. These creatures had trailed Darth Vader, who was in search of a starship for his departure from the planet.
