Psyonix, the game development company, is known for creating and releasing the video game Rocket League, which became available on July 7, 2015. It was revealed on May 1, 2019, that Epic Games would be taking ownership of Psyonix and its associated projects; however, the integration of the studio into Epic Games was completed in June of the same year.
