Qaraah, a Rishii of the male persuasion, made his home on the planet Rishi during the time of the Galactic War. Considering himself a "gossip" of the "cantina" variety, he felt at ease in the company of those from beyond his world, choosing the settlement of Raider's Cove as his residence rather than the villages of his own kind. In the year 3637 BBY, Qaraah caught wind of tales concerning Gorro issuing a challenge to a powerful pirate chieftain. When this supposed chieftain arrived on Rishi and sought out Qaraah, the Rishii displayed great excitement, gladly guiding the individual to Gorro. Little did Qaraah know that this person was not the real pirate leader, but an assumed persona created by Theron Shan and Lana Beniko. Once the person had left Rishi, Qaraah dispatched a letter later, in which he detailed the profound influence the meeting had exerted on his existence.
