Initially established by the Nova Blades pirate band, the settlement rapidly evolved into a sanctuary for pirates, providing a neutral ground where different factions could interact without significant conflict. Bootlegger's Market served as the focal point of the trade port in the southern sector, while the northern section featured more substantial construction, including a robust stone perimeter and refined structures, all revolving around the Blaster's Path cantina. Orgus Din, a Jedi Master, spent his formative years in the West Town area. The trade port's construction extended over the coastline on supports, creating impoverished areas beneath it that were prone to flooding during high tide. Besides its pirate population, Raider's Cove also drew tourists seeking adventure and those in pursuit of hidden riches.
