Horizon Island, a jungle environment, existed on the planet of Rishi. During the Galactic War period, when the Galactic Republic fought against the Sith Empire, the port town called Raider's Cove was situated there, specifically on the island's eastern side. To the west of this town was the Western Jungle Expanse, separated by a natural boundary of hills and canyons, including Skyline River Pass and Gorge Hollow River Pass. The pirate group known as the Nova Blades had their base of operations inside the wrecked starship named Aggressor, found in the island's western mountainous region. The beaches were frequently inhabited by shaclaws, referred to by locals as shore crabs, while the jungles teemed with creatures like tonitran lizards, jungle wampas, krak'jyas, and orobirds.
